Since 1998…
Riverglo is a family-friendly, admission-free, annual event organized by the River Reach Foundation. The event takes place on the first Friday of December (or the day before the San Juan College luminaria display).
Music venues composed of local carolers and a live nativity scene transform the Animas River trail that is lined by luminarias between Archway Court and the Little Pavilion. Santa, the Grinch, the lighted Christmas tree, sales of hot chocolate, popcorn, and holiday LED trinkets are located on the River Reach Terrace.
