Trails & Maps

River Reach Foundation invites you to explore trails in the Farmington area, including the Animas and San Juan Valley areas. There are detailed guides to parks, trails, facilities, and scenery in the area.  See the downloadable maps and information below so you can refer to them on your next hiking, rafting, or canoeing adventure.

Annual Riverfest Event

Riverfest is a family-friendly, admission-free, annual event organized by the River Reach Foundation.  Riverfest has been the River Reach Foundation’s signature event since 1987, and saw an estimated attendance of 30,000 people in 2019.

Annual Riverglo Event

Riverglo is a family-friendly, admission-free, annual event organized by the River Reach Foundation.  The event takes place in early December before the San Juan College annual luminaria display.  Visitors enjoy music, carolers, a live nativity scene, and more.

Animas River Jam

The Animas River Jam is a family-friendly, admission-free, annual event organized by the River Reach Foundation.  This event takes place in October each year at the River Reach Terrace in Berg Park.  Visitors enjoy a variety of music provided by 4 or 5 area bands and several food trucks offering a variety of food.
