About Us in Riverfest

riverglo-event-candel-light-brown-paper-bag-daniel-diswood-photographerRiver Reach Foundation in Farmington is dedicated to protecting the area’s rivers, streams, and lakes. We are involved in the annual duck race at Riverfest among other activities. The festival is celebrating 30 years in 2016. You’ll see our Dachshund mascot at the festival as well. River Reach Foundation begins inviting vendors to sign up for the festival in March, so be sure to get in on the action early if you have a product or service you wish to contribute.

Our organization supports many causes in the community, including the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, SB 270, Farmington Voting Districts, local musicians, and more. We post frequently on our Facebook group page, so be sure to stop by and join the group for updates.

If you love the river and preserving New Mexico’s natural habitat as much as we do, find out how you can join us and make an impact. From donations to volunteering your time to attending any of the events we sponsor, your support is what make it possible for us to do what we do in Farmington.
